I think we will end up with lesser marks in descriptive compared to last year. The topic given was abstract and no one knows what the examiner is looking for in the topic. I talked to some people and they deviated from the topic itself. Some even have written government schemes. Similar thing happened in CHSL 17 and people ended up with poor marks while they scored good in CGL 17.

Hey puys, don't feel dejected for the word limit issue, 275 word limit is allowed officially and even exceeding that doesn't carry any extreme consequences. For instance, last year..guys writing more than 290 words also scored good marks. So after writing the essay and letter, you completed your work, now relax.
