"Seven Kingdoms couldn't fill the hole she left behind." - Robert Baratheon. How many of you SSC aspirant guys are COOL? When I say cool, I mean cool enough to get the girl you desire. I got selected in SSC 2017.... I am saying this, not because this could make you read my post which is very long, but because my selection doesn't feel like an accomplishment, given the situation am placed in. The clerk job I've been doing & the prolonged SSC prep have left me with so little time to indulge myself in extracurricular activities. I am an introvert to start with. I am a poor planner for activities, lazy & don't maintain a good circle. My knowledge of the world around me is so little. I had made my interest known (implicitly) towards a sensible & beautiful girl who works for an MNC. I've known her for years. We had some very deep & private conversations on multiple occasions & seem trust each other. We never made out or confessed love. But everyone who knew us knew that we had similar personalities & were made for each other. But over the past weeks, I have come to learn that she found someone else and is going to marry him. I met the guy yesterday, had a chat with him for a good 20 minutes and learnt why she chose him. He runs a TV store business. He talked about various fields and aspects of the society & seemed omniscient. He has friends in all major cities of India & has already toured a dozen. He has a a way with people, talks & deals with them so easily. Me on the other hand - I have only 2 lousy tours (alone) to show for my entire life. Only 2-3 friends who I only talk to, that too...only online. Unlike her parents who are into business, my parents are employees who had to work like horses to give me the financial stability. I am so ignorant that I couldn't hold a proper conversation or maintain eye-contact with that guy. He seemed like an Alpha. The kind of Husband I would choose If I were a woman. Painfully, he is good-natured as well. Now we can't blame my girl, can we? She just chose the best husband for her, efficient father for her kids. That girl was my soul-mate. None of my past, present, future achievements count, cuz she was the only thing I ever wanted in my life. She was all I thought about whilst listening to hundreds of songs...for 9 years. Spending time alone, with books, watching TV shows don't seem to impress any girl. Even with an SSC selection in my pocket, I couldn't appeal to a girl because of my social ineptitude. Listen to me people - even if you are a genius...if you can't show confidence, attitude, interpersonal skills, wit & vigour....you still suck. People take you for a freaky nerd or social paraih. None of this geeky shit will impress a woman. Even if it does, she will only stay interested until she finds a Cool or Hot guy, because that is how humans are wired & made. Now go ahead, pick up your book & read some shit cuz that is only thing you can do with 100% confidence. World is such an inhospitable & hopeless place for introverts.
