i have only filled a and c as preference as i was filling according to last year. will i be considered for b as i am not eligible for a and c group. please help as i dont know what to do now
hey puys..wtf z going on ds thread..i thought ds thread is to help every one out there in there preparation bt off lately it has been turned into a filthy fish market..everyone has d right to speak there mind by atleast maintain sme dignity..by abusing each other u r only projecting ur beilefs and lack of ur ability to discuss about anything in a constructive manner..n regarding d btech grad topic..wht hav u learnt in life if u can't even present ur views in a legitimate manner in front of those who doesn't support ur views..m nt against normalisation or anything that will benefit us all..but before taking a leap in d dark atleast read it in the advertisement of ssc cgl..there is nowhere its mentioned that normalisation will take place..only in a line there is qualifying word used by ssc which can be helpful for us aspirants..u can consult any good lawyer regarding this whether normalisation case be strong or not n decide fr urself..second thing that everyone knew that d exam will take place in many shifts amd obviously the same level cannot be maintained in all shifts..so the ones whose exam was in hard shift they are crying out loud n d ones whose exam luckily was in easy shift are making mockery of d hard shift students..so my personal view is qualifying can be possible bt normalisation is not possible..everyone shud hav raised ds thing before even d conduct of examination..ds platform z to share ur views nt abuse d ones who holds a different opinion..kindly constructively critize each other if u want lyk an educated person so dat will b beneficial to everyone..no one is perfect n so r dr perceptions...ol d best puys..may ol of us get thru n srry fr making it too long 😅

Guys don't worry about any posts on this thread. Yahan logo k kuchh bhi bolne ya karne se exam pe koi asar nhi hoga believe me. Har saal koi na koi akhand ch#*t¡Y@ avtar leke ata h is page pe. Last year it was satyam sharma this time this is icrackcil. Last year bhi satyam bhok bhok k reh gya is saal bhi yahi hoga. So guys chill n prepare hard for tier 2.
Normalization won't make much difference, here's why...
15lakh students appeared for the exam in 43 shifts.. that's roughly 35,000 per seats.
We know that, hardly 2lakh people are serious aspirants i.e people who actually study for the examination, rest are just numbers whose average marks will hardly come to 40-50 / 200.
So that's 5000 serious students per shift, out of 35,000.
Most of us are good in Quants here, and the Chapter Average can tell how much difference the average marks per shift will get effected when 30,000 students are just numbers who will score 30-40-50 in every shift.
After normalization maximum of +- 5-7 marks will be done.
So 100-120 marks people can stop dreaming that they will become 150+ because that's simply not going to happen when there are 6times more students who will be scoring 30-40-50 and pulling down your average shift marks..
SSC CGL 2017 score of 140 is equivalent to SSC CGL 2016 score of

I support normalization but not through court case. One should discuss the issue with SSC first. Provide proper evidence and a common grievance of all candidates who have suffered. Those who have faced SSC 16 will surely understand that court case would not yield anything but delay the whole process. Any sincere student can easily cover 5-10 marks in mains but the court cases will delay the whole recruitment process by 4-5 months. Choice is yours. All the best. 👍
