Here is the analysis of past 3 exams of SSC CGL, the only thing that matters is the cut offs of each tier. So stop making a fuss about normalisation because the only thing that matters in the end is the final cutoff https://www.google.com/amp/s/gradeup.co/ssc-cgl-cut-off-2018-i_amp You can see that in 2017 the pre cut off was way high but it came down in tier 2 and that is after all the screen sharing people did. It does not matter how high people are scoring the only thing that matters is what is the cutoff.
