All numbers are approximate values taken to determine final cutoff
OBC 433+ = 8000
OBC 400+ = 15000
That means hypothesis is that for every 30 marks candidates will approximately double.
Now, applying it to SC.
SC 433+ = 1300
SC 400+ = 2500 (approx double of 433+)
SC 370+ = 5000 (same logic)
So, SC 350+ = 5000+2/3*5000 = 8000 (Pretty accurate)
Similarly, extrapolating this theory, we can get the following:
(Normalised) 433+ = 27600 candidates
460+ = 13k
490+ = 6.5k
500+ = 5k
510+ = 3.7k
520+ = 2.5k
530+ = 2k
540+ = 1.5k
550+ = 1k
So, to be in race for ITI/Excise, you should get 550+60+10 (to be safe) = 620 minimum
For other 4600 posts, 610
4200 posts, 590-600
2400 posts => 570-590

11th shift: Maths: raw score (acc to old answer key) = 180.... raw score (acc to revised answer key) = 182....normalised score = 185!!!! Wrong Qs fkd up everything!!!! and since this was easier shift, free ke marks had even more negative impact!!!!
