Being a 12 Shifter, it is so irritating to see 13 shifters complaining about their shift being so hard even when it is evident that they'll get atleast 45 marks as increment. And then there are 11 shifters... Ungrateful assholes who are whining that they too should get a good benefit of normalisation as according to them their shift was as hard as other shifts.... Baaki shifts mein toh chuttiye baithe thhe sab inke hisaab se.
Bhai thoda socho 2016 me paper easyy tha ar bina normalization k cut off 540-50 tha... 2018 me normalization se pre me marks bahot increase huye h.. Fir v cut off me 10-15 marks ka fark h iss hisab se final cut off 2016 se kam jayega iss baar pakki baat h ar upar se paper v tough tha... So 480 ur ip post pakka h... 450 obc ip post pakka h...
Final cut-off for each post in each category will be a huge surprise for everyone. Period!
1.) total around 8lakh students appeared for Tier1 but only around 1.5 lakh student qualified for Tier2 = just about 20% (i.e.) top 20% rankers => they were clearly well above the raw average score and so got good increases through normalisation... mostly these qualified candidates are the ones who reveal their increased scores online and so there is a perception that most got high increases but the real reason was that non-serious candidates who scored low and brought down the raw avg well below the real avg of Tier2 qualified candidates..
2.) Now in Tier2, most are serious and give their best attempt.. not many non-serious candidates to bring down the average.. so the average raw score will be higher in comparison to Tier1 and so there won't be many who will score much higher than the raw average => not much increase in marks..
Now there will be reasonable increase in maths (for those scoring 170-200) but not much in english after normalisation but for sure the no. of candidates with high increases will be quite less as compared to Tier1.
