I have scored 194.23+ 151.5 +188.75 (13th sept). Do I have chance to get MEA . All I hear is that only TA posts are remaining for 13th sept. I'm very frustrated becoz this was my best shot. Cutoff for excise will be 582 for general max.in cgl 2016-9000 were above 158 marks,in cgl 2018 -9000 are above 170 marks,12 marks diff. Let add 10 marks more,as competition increases every year,paper of tier 2 is just like 2016 but students are better prepared so add 10 more marks,since 2017 ssc students are also there ,add 10 marks more, Conclusion-overall 42 marks increase(neglecting normalisation in tier 2)

Marks of topper(tier1+2) of cgl 16.We could clearly see that density of students getting higher marks is less.There is 1 student for 2-3 marks difference,but as we go lower the density increases exponentially.So,in 2018,students are getting above 550,but they are very less and main battle is among students getting 470-510.
