I don't see what the fuss about the high cutoff is. The number of candidates selected are exactly the same in cgl17 vs cgl18. I've attached a screenshot of cgl17 writeup of tier 1 for comparison. And personally i got 162.5 in tier 1 cgl17 141 raw score in tier 1 cgl18 ( normalised to 170+) I don't think the process is as messed up as everyone is claiming.

1 more info for people. Tier 2 will be conducted on a single day (paper 1+2). This is TCS , it can manage to conduct exam of 1.5 lakh candidates in single day. Obviously then question lies , why not in prelims? Well that is the answer I am looking for.
bhailog 200+ marks bhi aayega normalization ke baad . Maine railway ka formula dekha toh pata chala dono ka same formula hai isiliye SSC mein bhi 200+ marks aayenge.

Well the world is so selfish . Just saw a CAT 99.3+ percentiler justifying +40 +50 in normalization . Just because he himself got his marks increased by atleast +25? Atleast bro people like you who have sound reasoning skills need to understand this flawed system of SSC.

BC paper itna tough banao sabka ki topper ke 70% marks hon. Sabka tough banao. Yahan launde English bhi rat kar mains mein 180+ laate hain in English. Active/passive, one word, direct/indirect yahi sab poonchenge mains mein 70 no ka. Tab asli aukat pata chalegi aur ye coaching waalon ka dhandha bhi band hoga jab achhe level ka paper ayega.
Yr mai 27+ hu mtlb 2400/2800 ni milegi and naam bhi sirf 3rd list me hai mtlb 145-155 itte hi honhe. Mujhe kya krna chahiye 20 din lagna chahiye ya baki kuchh dekhu and agr lagu to kitte chahiye mujhe tier2 me koi bhi job ke liye( 2400/2800 nahi mil skti mtlb IP hi chahiye hogi) pls experience log btae
Guys T2 mein koi normalization nhi hoga kyunki 11-13 september tk paper h......obvious ki ek din maths aur english hoga, agle din JSO wala aur uske agle din AAO wala. Bole toh 11th sep- maths, english 12thsep- JSO 13th sep- AAO.TCS can conduct exam of 1.5 lakhs students in one day....so koi normalisation effect nhi hoga Tier 2 mein......

Ek aur baat agar normalization se 200+ nahi hue to bhi kuch ladke case karenge. Maan lo kisi ladke ke tough shift mein 180 hain aur kisi dusre ke 160. And there is normalization of +40 marks. Then since there is maximum capping of 200, both will get 200 despite being from same shift. So by this anology wo ladka to bevkoof hua jisne tough shift mein 180 score kiya jab 160, 180 waale ke barabar score honge to.
