My friend got around 70 + in tier 3, cuz he had only 425 around marks earlier. It looks like average score of tier 3 is increased. May be everyone is given enough marks unlike the last time's scenario. I mean many people this time is gonna have marks around the mean mark. And also mean mark is kind of higher than the last time.
So it all depends on the correction of tier 3. Unless the SSC declares the tier 3 marks it is no way possible to authoritatively comment on the final cutoff.
Its just that in my analysis final cutoff isn't gonna vary by 5 or 6 marks. For me it looks like the final cutoff will end up somewhere near to that of the 2016 cgl's final cutoff. Nothing more nothing less. Also last time ke comparison me agar 10k vacancies hoti to 5 mark dip in cutoffs expect kar rahe the. Is bar to vacancies kam hui hai. So no dip in cutoffs.
Also In UR,
If u are looking for a 4800 or 4600 post then cutoffs wont vary much.
There were 1986 vacancies in 2016 for 4800 and 4600 post.
Now in 2017 it is 1875 vacancy.
So a difference of 111 posts. If lucky we may get the vacancies updated in the coming 2 months.
