So I was reading last month's Yojana, apart from the very obvious fall in quality of content, the motto of every chapter is an attempt to disprove allegations of unemployment. Few years ago there was a consensus among intellctuals that the high growth of India has not helped the masses. The exercise then was to understand the reason of this conundrum. Now everything is just a cover up.

The festive season is in full swing. People are very excited. Three of my cousins are getting married in Nov - Dec. I am not going to attend. It's my birthday today. While I am not the one to celebrate birthdays but i have never felt so low before. It's like everything is meaningless. I am just lying around all day doing nothing. Fed up with everything. This system has ruined me completely.
The one thing I craved for in the last 4 years is CGL. Left a well paying MNC job in metro and prepared. Denied PO job for CGL preparation last year. Worked hard and hard. Took risks, got good marks (515+), thanked God for paying off me with his blessings. Filled IBPS PO form again just because parents insisted but all I could dream of was CGL. Cleared PO again and joined this year thinking that when CGL result will come, I'll leave this job and be the one I dream of day in day out. But Alas! Life is cruel. I realise that life is like that only, a mix bag of bitter sweet experience but deep in my heart, one word rings "CGL".
When I look back on how I've misspent the past few years of my life. ☹️
