I think SC has only made explicit, what was implicit. If ppl can recall, after the allegations of cheating in February, the Chairman had already said that they would be reluctant to declare the Final result before a breakthrough from investigation is obtained. Now, with SC taking cognizance, this would only expedite the CBI enquiry.
PS- CGL 17 would NOT be cancelled since a lot of time, money and media attention has gone into it. This would only go into a limbo for the time being.

Stay is not a big deal ...But the language which the court used is frightening.. It's not about the cheaters but upcoming elections everyone is cognizant of the fact that cheating happens every year ,but it's the BJP govt which is the target, the judiciary is not happy with BJP's dictatorship , candidates of cgl 17 may face the backlash ..Though nothing is certain but things look gloomy cancellation is an extreme step but stay has its own repercussions
Koi kucch bhi kahe but agr ssc 2018 mein normalization k liye mana hai to Raju & co. ka bada role thaa.... we shd thank him atleast for that....

agar cancel hua aur end me ye hua ki sirf 8-10 log hi the cheating me to to bhai hudd hi ho jaayegi. SC ne pata nahi kya dekh k ya samajh k ye decision diya hain. agar zyada panga hoga to hi kiya hoga aisa. varna to bewkoofi hain !

Tier 2 bs cancel kre toh sahi rahega..!! bcz agar cheating n leakege hui hai toh in all probability 470-490 walon ko v seat milna possible nhi hai !! But then fair enquiry hona chahiye n guilty should be punished...chahe wo ssc k officer ho ya student ho..!!
Bhailog sorry to say unless AG is there in the next hearing , khurana & modi pull up their socks cgl 17 is going to get cancelled , but only Tier 2 ... It's quirk of fate + election year coming up combined effect ...Alas until is unless there is some miracle buy some good T2 mocks & start practising . PS: Nothing demotivating but harsh reality ..But Let's hope for a miracle on the 7th

Does SC understand that there are other thousands of genuine candidates suffering due to misdeeds of a few? Has this point been told? Can we represent this point before next hearing?

Its the responsibility of CBI and court to weed out the cheaters. Why is there a CBI at all, If all they can do is cancel the exam? If that is the case ,recently 20 employees of group C selected via SSC Cgl and CHSL 2015 and 2016 were found guilty of Cheating by CBI and terminated. Why not cancel that exams too and terminate all successful candidates from that exam? Life of a lot of poor and talented candidates depend on this exam. It might be their last hope.
