So, apparently many people are having doubts regarding so many things regarding result, tier 3 etc., as I have been seeing in most posts. Whether they are asking a genuine doubt or not, I will leave that to their own discretion. 1. Whether result will come for tier 3 before conducting tier 4 According to the corrigendum released on 07-06-18 by SSC (after some typos in the tier 2 write-up), they will release lists according to performance of candidates in tiers 1+2+3. They may release 3-4 lists, one for CPT, one for DEST, one each for AAO and JSO and maybe another one for DV only for posts not requiring DEST and CPT. 2. Long wait of 3-5 months now before CPT, what to do? Many are forgetting that most probably after 2-2.5 months, the above said lists will be released, probably after september end. So, until that time, if you want to secure a job (at the least TA), start practicing typing. Excel and PowerPoint can be learnt in 5-6 days before the CPT. A piece of advice- everybody has started practicing typing and most are excellent at it (they say here that they don't even know what typing is). So, people who don't type that fast, don't listen to anybody, start your practice. Treat the gap between T3 and T4 as a boon and practice wholeheartedly from now itself. A minimum of 1 hour daily (without missing anyday) will be sufficient. 3. What will be the cutoffs for appearing in T4 and whether they are the final cutoffs? Don't worry about this matter, as no body knows the exact data required for such assumptions and if at all someone's predictions have gone right or may come right in the future, it is a mere coincidence. But, for sure, SSC will call more number of candidates than available posts for T4, in multiples of the available posts and hence the cutoffs when released will automatically seem a bit less than expected. Then, don't get carried away like, I will definitely get a job even if I don't qualify CPT or DEST, or I will not get a job even if I qualify CPT or DEST. Both approaches are wrong. Irrespective of your marks, if you qualified in one or more lists for CPT or DEST, just give your 100% output in T4. You never know how the tide will turn. If at all there are any other doubts regarding any of the stages, ask them in the comments. I will try and answer them in the earliest.

SSC will conduct Tier 1 of SSC CGL and CPO in September October. This is the reason to conduct Tier 4 to be postponed. There will be many candidates who will appear for all CPO, CGL Tier 1 and Tier 4 so they have to schedule them on different dates.

Guys we all knw that transfer is possible if one's spouse is also in govt job. What if one gets selected as AEO ? will her/his spouse also get transfer to that place everytime and what will be the practical difficulties associated ? TYIA. 🙏 🙏
