I got 46 in tier 3 last year. Reason mujhe mahi samajh aaya bt writing long sentences, complex sentences may be one of the reasons. So i am writing 5th standard english kyunki wo teachers bhi 5th class ke hote hai. Any thing more that should be done?? Please help?? 🙄

SSC descriptive paper is totally different from UPSC essay paper, which is of 3 hours. The intent of examiner here is not to check your knowledge of GK but whether you possess basic writing skills. This is evident from the general topics choosen by SSC. So how to score maximum marks? # Write simple and straight forward sentences # Try to write maximum points in minimum words # Avoid in-depth explanation of any point because 250 words are too less. # Last year I got 64 marks and where i lacked was:- proper handwriting, and unable to maintain proper flow and cohesion in essay. So by following above advice there are high chances you may get 70 + marks.😊
