Guys I've a query about tier4.... I'm gonna opt for only ITI and DA, which don't require DEST or CPT..then can I skip these two tests or do I have to give these compulsorily.

Last year, inspector (central excise) was given upto 1692 rank(UR) with 563 vacancies in general category. This year, as there are 699 vacancies i.e. 136 extra the post distribution could be extended for upto 1828 rank. The issue is how much increase or decrease you guys expect in the final cut-off for this post. Last year, the cut-off was 538.5 (UR).

500 wale nahi pata par 480 around 2k AIR hoga , magar NIP cut off 520+ jaane wali hain agar vacancies same rahi & don't except a huge increase

Those worrying about large clusters of 500+ candidates, maybe they should look carefully scorecard of those appearing in stat and accounts paper with those skipping these. You will know why there is sudden upsurge. Do not panic. Cutoff would be more or less same as that of 2016's. Probably 5 marks more only. KEEP CALM AND PREPARE FOR TIER 3.

Bhailog yeh mera predicted cut off hain no source (par aaj tak galat hua nahi durbhagyavash) : ITI minimum upto T2 : 510 Examiner: 512 AEO: 506 CSS: 490 MEA : 502 AAO: 620 CEX: 480 Not considering T3 AVG because AVG this year will be low Khurram won't want cut off's to skyrocket , he will use T3 as his monetary policy to curb the exhorbitant increase in cut off.. Baki gaali galouch is welcome

Qmaths ka toh pata nahi...but ssc ne jo cut off nikal h, bonus marks dene k baad nikali h..still cutoff fell by mere 7 marks...iska matlab zyadatar post ki cutoff same rhegi agr decrease hui to max 5. Prepare accordingly

Bhai log jam ke RTI daalo aur rank poocho Bina ranklist ke cut off nahi aati ..Aur rank Janna koi paap bhi nahi ..10000 tak RTI Gaya toh SSC will be forced to put a notice regarding this on its website

Guys in order to know your rank pls file RTI in large nos.Ask them about the no of students 1.who have scored more than 500 in SSC CGL tier 1+2 2.who have scored more than 480 in SSC CGL 2017 tier 1+2 3.who have scored more than 450 in SSC CGL tier 1+2 .Pls do it in large numbers.

Totally Quamped after getting initial gen from Qmaths survey :( It may be or may not be true , but if this is the story then be ready for a #Bitter climax. After T2 exam, everyone was expecting 20-25 marks dip in cutoff, while after the release of answer key, veterans vaticinated for 10-12 marks dip. The scenario changed drastically after marks issued, soothsayers and veterans are predicting an increase or "no change" in cutoff. Where were we wrong in the past ? Were we unable to judge the talent and hardwork of aspirants ? Or were we so optimistic? Whatever the reason was, now we have reached on a next step, better to come out of our quixotic world and accept the #BitterTruth. Eagerly waiting for rank wise PDF now, have filed an RTI. Qmaths के सर्वे पे ना जाएं। उसका सबसे बड़ा कारण ये है कि जिसके अच्छे मार्क्स होते हैं वो शेखी में अपने नम्बर बताता फिरता है। जिसके कम होते हैं वो नज़ारा देखता है बताता भी नहीं अपने मार्क्स। दूसरी बात ये है कि 2हज़ार लोग 11हज़ार सीट नहीं decide करते। तीसरी बात अगर आपके नंबर 460 हैं तो दूसरे के 461 हैं या 522 दोनों आपसे ऊपर हैं, ज्यादा ऊपर हैं कम ऊपर हैं इससे कोई मतलब नही। मान लिया कि 600 700लोग के फाण्ड गाड़ नम्बर है, तो इन लोग को किनारे करो सीट तो 522 वाले को भी 1 ही मिलेगी। बाकी बची सीट्स पर मार करो अब। cutoff तो बढ़ेगी ही मगर इतना नहीं कि 460 465 वाले अपना चांस पूछें।
