Actually looking at the pattern of posts-- ye koi 5-10 log hain jo ki bahut id banaye hain aur din raat yaha pe gobar karte hain. In ma ke L ki post to guaranteed hai ye 2400/2800 gp to pa hi jayenge.... Lekin in MC logon ki sirf CGL bhar ki aukat h...kuch to farzi ias aspirant ban ke post karte hain. In short ye MC sirf gandgi hain jinko avoid kro sab....
AAO has the highest grade pay but most candidates prefer other IP posts. Why is it so?
I've always believed that the meme-makers, mainly @TsarJi @suneelph @No_Offence and @Blackbeard4 are the only sane people on this group, besides @kaamdev and the collection of his crushes, of course. The Moderators have to be really resistant to sanity to block/ban anyone of us.
People are continuously spreading false information regarding AAO. Why dont they do so for other posts ? The only reason is that they want top scorers to not opt AAO and leave it posts for them. Same type of propaganda was run last yr too for the same reason. Hence the only advice is to check the facts before filling your preferences. All The Best

This small analysis is only for OBC candidates and only for interview posts. Last year there were about 7540 candidates who got more than 415.5, this year at the same mark the no of candidates are 7511. Now this proves that there may not be any difference in the no of candidates at a particular mark between last year and this year. However the no of interview posts for obc last year inncluding AAO were around 840 and this year 940, this could lead to dip in cutoff by around 5 marks, in no case more than this. But there might be difference in cutoff of individual posts, like the cutoff for posts like examiner as there are more no of posts this year than of last year. The least cutoff could be for the post of inspector central excise at some where around 523 or may be a mark or two less as CPT is compulsory this year, also note that this year the no of vacancies in shillong zone are 167. This is my opinion, you may agree or disagree but do not abuse
