How is JSO cutoff so low? Statistics wale itne kam thay kya? I am getting around 450 total including Statistics. Considering the cutoff is so low (280), does that mean I have a good chance?

Ek aur error.... Write up mein jso mein obc candidates qualified 1914 and who cleared gen cut off 1954... Sc 655 and gen cut off 663 Bc tuchiyaa hai kya ssc kabhi to primary school se aage badh k upsc se write up and exam lena shikh le😂😂😂😁

The RICKdiculous AAO Cutoff
1313 general candidates qualified the 573 cut off . Across categories around 1400. the reaction to the aao exam and the genral consensus was that a average score in the paper wwould be around 80. which would suggest that almost 1400 would have a score of 490+
This would not however include the aspirants not opting for for aao. so the number increases even further but not by a huge number. since a serious candidate would attempt the paper for the sake of it.
but, this list would incluse students prepapring in a dedicated
manner towards the same. and would be scoring in the range of 120+. this number could fall around 500. which would then then again bring down the number of candidates scoring 490+ drastically. to the range of 900-1000.
Now to the other end of the scenario. 30-35k students scored 422+ last year.40-45k scored 415+ this year. not sure of the figures but the lower end of qualified students contain a bulk thus exact figures can be ignored.
taking into account all the above factors, here is my prediction for final cutoff as comapred to last year considering vacancies have seen a slight increase in most expect a few(CBI,AAO...)
Examiner,ITI,CSS,ED... ~ -5
CBI ~ -2
Excise ~ -10
NIP ~ -5
AAO - not familiar with last years trend, but fewer vacancies could more or less compensate for the higher difficulty of Paper-IV

there is really something fishy about cutoffs.....since there was already decrease of 6 marks in tier 1 and considering tougher mathsin tier 2 cutoffs should have fallen by atleast 15 marks....i really think something is not right.....maybe normalisation has been done with inflated marks or all the representations have been entertained
