Democracy is the best form of Govt. Yet, politicians world over are the most hated. Coz voters expect perfection, which doesnt exist and hence always disappointed. Politicians are our best hope, in so far as we vote right.
Do not vote to teach anyone a lesson. Vote for a better option. Or the least worse. Do not abstain, do not NOTA. These are sins in democracy. They wanted to teach Modi a lesson, they got HDK inflicted on them.
When voters reject(or NOTA) a choice because it's not Good enough, for a choice that is worse, Democracy will never throw up a better option. OTOH, if voters keep voting the least worse option, 'Good' or better choices would ultimately emerge over few cycles .
