Gud mornin everyone, A small analysis of CGL vacancies and IP cutoff. (UR only)

CGL 2016=1533 IP vacancies(except AAO and statistical)......

CGL 2017=1875 IP vacancies(except AAO and statistical)......

This diffrnc equals 3.25 marks decrease in final cutoff list....

Tier 1 has 6 marks decreased cutoff.....

Tier 2 was tougher this time so we can safely assume a decrease of 5 marks......

AAO and Statistical vacancies have decreased from 841 to 329. But i have not included it in bcoz its "AAO effect" is not quiet understood yet...people dont tick AAO and JS while filling form and high rankers sometimes dont fill it as their prfrnc......

So last IP post cutoff for UR decreases by=(3.25+6+5)-"AAO effect"=

last year statistics, students scoring 150+ in english = 6000 , students scoring 150+ in maths = 14000, but total number of students scoring 300+ in tier 1 and 2 combined=6000, sab ka dono accha nhi hota
