I didnot mark the group D in the preference while filling the application. If i am not able to clear cut offs for 4200 posts can i still be prefered for 2800 posts? i mean will i get a chance to correct it during document verification?

I sent a mail to ssc regarding this.They replied " DOCUMENT VERIFICATION TIME UPDATE" what  does that mean?
