This question is conceptually wrong and even then SSC did not give marks to students now in 17th feb there was a question as follows-

The length and breadth of rectangle is 8 and 6 cm. a regular octagon is made by cutting triangles from what vertices. What is the length of sides of octagon??

Now, everyone knows in regular octagon has all sides and angles equal. But an octagon formed from rectangle will have all sides equal but angle unequal. So, question is conceptually wrong.

So, do you think SSC will give marks in this question??
