Today if the modern generation of bengali indians are being able to proudly identify themselves with india,its largely because of Dr Mukherjee,otherwise in all probability the land of westbengal would have been a part of East pakistan or modern bangladesh,and the bengali hindu culture would have vanished sooner or later.
Note that the above movie is not a banned one,and has been cleared by the Censor board. So kindly dont bring those lines of argument here.

Lokpal Bill . . The word Lokpal was coined in 1963 by LM Singhvi, a member of parliament. The bill was inspired by Hong Kong 's Independent Commission against Corruption. In order to bring to the attention of the government the need to enact the Jan LokPal Bill, a focused campaigning was started in form of the India Against Corruption movement. Anna Hazare was heading core members of Civil society and IAC movement. The Lokpal bill was first introduced by Shanti Bhushan in 1968 and passed the 4th Lok Sabha in 1969 ,but before it could be passed by Rajya sabha , the Lok Sabha was dissolved and the bill lapsed. Subsequent versions were re introduced in 1971,1977,1985 and 1989. But none of them were passed. In 2011 during the Parliament winter session, the Lok Sabha passed controversial Lokpal Bill but it was subsequently turned down in Rajya Sabha. . Key features - to establish a central government anti-corruption institution called Lokpal supported by Lokayukta at the state level. - As is the case with the supreme court and cabinet Secretariat the lokpal Bill will be supervised by the cabinet secretary and the election commission. - Members will be appointed by judges, IAS officers with a clean record private citizens and participatory process. - investigation of each case must be completed in one year. Any resulting trials should be concluded in the following year. . The Loksabha on 18 Dec 2013 finally passed the historic lokpal and Lokayukta bill 2013, paving the way for establishment of an ombudsman to fight corruption in public offices and ensure accountability on the part of public officials, including the Prime Minister but with some safeguards. Odisha became the first state to enact Lokayukta bill in india in 2014. While Maharashtr was first state to introduce the institution of Lokayukta in 1971.
