Chilling details of KATHUA GANGRAPE-MURDER case of 8 year old Ashifa. On 10 Jan 2018--A Juvenile & Mannu(his friend) kidnapped Ashifa(of bakarwal community--a muslim nomadic tribe), who had gone for grazing the horses in forest. They forcibly administered sedatives to her & then duo raped her. Later they took her to Devisthan(prayer hall). On 11 Jan--Juvenile telephoned his cousin Vishal & asked him to return from Meerut in case he wanted to satisfy his lust. On 13 Jan--Vishal & Juvenile commited gangrape. On 14 Jan--They decided to kill the girl. So the accused-Juvenile,Mannu,Vishal took the girl to nearby culvert. In the meantime Deepak Khajuria(SPO in Police) who is also a conspirator in crime, reached and said to wait as he wanted to rape the girl before she is killed. She was again gangraped by Deepak & Juvenile. Then they strangulated her. To make sure that victim is dead they hit her head with stone. [Betweem all these days , they kept her without food and repeatedly administered sedative tablets.] And all this is done to "dislodge" a group of Bakherwal Muslim nomads from Rasana village in Kathua near Jammu. Whole case took communal turn when Hindu Ekta Manch was formed and held a Tiranga Yatra on 14 Feb in support of the accused arrested by the police. Among those who backed the Manch were Lal Singh and Chander Prakash Ganga, two BJP ministers in J&K Govt. On 10 April-- A group of people tried to stop the filing of chargesheet by crime branch. They shouted slogans of-"Jai Shri Ram", "Bharat Mata ki Jay". Including all the above accused the chargesheet also names--SPO Deepak Khajuria, Assistant Sub Inspector Anand Dutta, Head Constable Tilak Raj, for charges of cover up and attempt to destory evidence.
