Say someone gets top 200 rank in Gate in gen category,but he is not sure to get a psu. But a sc/St gets 1000-2000 rank but gets a job for sure, say by some situation we both get selected. Then if you think about it, the gen guy lost sleep,friends,relationships all for this unsure rank yet the sc/St guy casually studies and get his job. Most probably this sc/St guy has parents who are group a officers. I think this sc/St guy should be paid only 1/4 the salary paid to the general to make it fair
