studied very well for the first time (at least I think so)got165 in tier1. tier2 exam was bellow average,but it was of the same level for everyone,then comes the twist that it was of moderate level for 9th march and they will take away our jobs(gaali mat dena,I heard from others).on the top of that this key is taking much time suggesting that it is going to take much long for final result and if any chance is there,to get a job creating more tension and anxiety.I just keep on refreshibg this page to see any updates.the more days passing the more depression it is creating.donno what to do.fully frustrated

Why are people creating ruckus over 9, first of all majority of candidates who gave paper were àao candidates or say the ones who already had given tier2 in 16...if they had given paper on any other day..most probably that day day would have become easier....stop arguing/complaining...it was not that 100/100 questions were easy....there were at least 20 questions which would have made u believe paper was not at all easy...if u don't believe me then please try to solve mensuration and no system question when it is available...u will get your answers

many of u are probably bogged down by the choice of posts in cgl.honestly its very hard to decide posts.I had got inspector of posts in the past through cgl 2013,which was considered the worst post of cgl and probably even now it is seen the same way :) And yet in this post,i got a pure home posting,just 2 hours of train journey from my home,and a 4600 gp job.While one of my friends got central excise but in chennai,TN.He is not happy with his place of posting.In general for those of u who would be first timers in govt services,whether u would be satisfied or not in ur post depends on some factors which cant be constant in a particular dept.For example,ITI and examiner are generally considerded the best posts of cgl,but if u ask some random ITIs and examiners,u will find a few of them happy,and a few of them frustrated or atleast,unhappy with their respective depts.Otoh,while in general Inspector of Posts can be grouped as the worst post under 4600 gp,just for the sheer diversity of the job and responsibility it carries,many of my IPO batchmates are well settled in this job,and they have no intention to change in depts of cgl anymore.They have learnt the skills and nature of work in this dept,and also gained years of experience.They might change to UPSC or RBI in future,but they dont wish to get set go on a new dept in cgl again,and that also same grade pay so what i am trying to highlight is that,ur happiness in a particular dept will depend on some factors,like ur familiarity and learning of the job,ur colleagues,a friendly boss/superior,home posting etc.And if any/all of these factors go wrong,u may end up being unhappy with even the best cgl post,like MEA or Examiner or whatever. Every single post,atleast in the 4600 gp range,will have some pros and some cons. U will realise this later on,that actually the immediate happiness in any dept depends on ur immediate senior/boss and no one else :) In my first posting,I had a boss who came straight from heaven.Hence i took random leaves,even without filing CL ,EL or Medical leaves .THese are the things that can be managed locally,within ur office of posting.But u need to have a friendly superior for the same.And on the other side,a bad superior will make ur life hell even in the easiest of cgl jobs like TA CBDT etc.
Hence feel happy if u can get ur first choice this time,but dont get depressed if u get ur last choice :) Chances are that u might well end up happier in ur last pref than ur friend who has cracked his first pref dept.Happiness and satisfaction depend on a lot of factors that arent connected with the name ,cutoff or apparent reputation of a dept.ALso one more thing,the chief reason behind hype of posts like ITI carries a sense of so-called status symbol.If that sense of elitism is not among ur first priorities,and if UTM is not ur objective,then u can be happy in any job ,provided the factors i mentioned above click in ur favour.
