I don't understand why ssc does not normalise prelims marks in different sittings and on different days, the thing is i was giving last years tier 1 paper and Β my marks highly fluctuated.
In one i was scoring upto 140 only and in the other in excess of 170 and then 150.
Yes, ssc must be having its own valid reasons to not normalise but i feel normalisation is the path of least resistance and ssc is simply focusing on conducting exam and declaring results cause it has been facing flak for delayed results.
So, obviously ssc doesn't want extra workload of comparing different shifts and then preparing result after normalising marks, it would further delay.
So, ssc is choosing the lesser evil but is this the right way.
