when u discuss cutoffs,kindly dont assume the cutoff out of 600,that was a lollypop ssc handed over to us last year :) the cutoff out of 600 is only meant for descriptive qualification.And many who would be on borderline zone of this cutoff,will never get a post,particularly general candidates who are over 27.Hence keep the final cutoff out of 700 in perspective.

Ashim Khurana is probably an honest officer.I am saying this based on his steps towards ensuring transparency to a certain extent.But he is no NK Raghupathy either.This i could understand,when i found ssc totally ducking some of the valid concerns,like normalisation,qualifying t1 or alteration of responses due to SIFY's fault.Had it been Raghupathy Sir,he would have taken valid decisions overnight on these issues.Infact for those of u who dont know the interim history of ssc's corruption,all of it largely started off from cgl 2013 onwards,in Ak Bhattacharya era.before that,upto 2012,NK Raghupathy had ensured almost 100% fair selection through ssc exams.Just as an example,NK Raghupathy had set cctv survellience in OMR arrangement&checking centres of ssc.These OMR checking areas were the places where max corruption happens in OMR exams. But after Raghupathy Sir retired,for whatever reasons,cctv survellience was cut off,and the cause shown was frivolous,ie,ssc officials are honest and diligent,hence no need for cctv survellience on them.And the rest is history,to get a glimpse of this history,check the huge difference in cutoffs between 2012 and 2013.U will get a fair and square idea.Hence what i am trying to put down is,while Khurana might be honest by himself,he doesnt have that knack of Raghupathy in addressing issues effectively ,on the spot.So I can safely assume some cheating and corruption will happen,it wont be near 100% clean like it had been in Raghupathy's time. This is not because Ashim Khurana is corrupt,but he is not decisive in nature,if we compare his tenure to Raghupathy's tenure.HAd it been Raghupathy today,we would have seen instant and overnight decisions on normalisation,qualifying t1,controlling server leaks and other issues.
