MY ANALYSIS FOR MEA CUTT OFF First things first :- we set our topper of CGL 17 between 575 and 585 in one of my earlier posts 😂. MEA - MUCH COVETED POST. Last year cutoff for MEA was 558.75. 74 out of top 482 opted for it which comes to approx 15 percent. Now vacancy in 2017 for this post is almost same i.e 76 . So CUTT off for this will be closing at 530-550 rank ( this year vacancy for EXAMINER post is almost 4 times that of the same post in 2016 {FOR UR), so many toppers will opt for EXAMINER leaving MEA). This is why I extended last rank by almost 50 ranks (I might be wrong) Now marks required for this post will be somewhere between 540 and 545 (last hope) POINT TO BE NOTED :- 1)I said ITI will be closing at max. 330-340 rank and predicted 545-550 marks for the last person to be ITI. Now if u closely examine the last year's rank list you wil find that there is only a 6 marks decline from 300th rank to 500th rank (such is the level of cut-throat competition in CGL) 2)CPT can play a decisive role in decline of cuttoff for MEA.
