Main reason for 35-40 lac applications in SSC cgl is its exam fee....ppl just fill form knowing that they won't appear for exam....If SSC increases its application fee to atleast 300 rs then the no. of applicants will automatically reduce & there would be no need of 3rd class exam venues....In bank exams fee is 600 rs so u will see very less absentees in exam Hall but in SSC half the lab is empty...So some steps need to be taken....plz don't say that I am poor & I don't have 300 rs....
