CHOCOLATE CONCEPT
P, Q and R can do a work in 20, 30 and 60 days respectively. How many days does it need to complete the work if P does the work and he is assisted by Q and R on every third day?
Lets Solve it with this Method..
P can eat chocolates in 20 days
Q can eat choclates in 30 days
R can eat chocolates in 60 days
Ab maan lo chocolates to be eaten are 60 (LCM of 20,30,60)
Now P ek din mein 3 choclate khaata h
Q ek din mein 2 choclate khaata h
R ek din mein 1 choclate khaata h
Ab question says P har din kaam karta h aur every 3rd day Q and R bhi karte hain...
Ab P 3 din mein Chocolate khaayegaa 3*3=9
And every 3rd day Q & R khaayenge 2+1=3 Chocolates.
Now total 3 days mein 3no mil ke chocolates khaayenge 9+3=12...
Now total Chocolates are 60... 12 khaate hain 3 din mein...
12*5=60 3*5=15
Total days=15...
This Looks a little long as i am explaining it to you but once you practice it You wont have to Write anything on paper....These calculation will happen in your mind

Solution:
a^2+1 = -a or 1+a = -a^2
So (1-a+a^2 ) (1+a-a^2) = (-a-a)(-a^2 -a^2) = (-2a)(-2a^2) = 4a^3
Find the a^3 value as follows
a^2+a+1 =0 Multiply a on both sides
a^3+a^2+a=0 => a^3= -a^2-a = 1+a-a=1
So answer is 4a^3=4*1=4
