Doubt: In (b) part "for a long time" is given so correction in (a) part should be: had lain because with for/since perfect or perfect continuous tense is used.

Sabhi bhaiyo se nevadan, Jaisa ki kisi ne last month Khurana ko call krke puchha k result kab ayega? Khurana said tier 1 se pehle dene ki puri koshish h. N notification mein bhi TENTATIVE likha h. Sorry being pessimist but pta nhi kyon lagg rha h kal result nhi aney wala. I wish k kal hi aa jaye result. In any case, jinki job lagti h best of luck to them. Or mere jaise h jinke chances are bleak wo sab bhai agar select na huwe to 2017 wala group join kr lena. Dukh baant lenge apna.
