Jan Dhan Yojana
Even after 69 years of independence and banks were nationalized,poor people didn't get the banking facilities. Jan Dhan Yojana is a scheme launched by PM Modi on 28th August 2014 to make finacial inclusion of all households of the country.
The objective of this scheme is to provide basic banking facilities such as savings and deposit accounts, credit, remittance and pension etc to all. This sheme is monitored by Department of Financial Service of Ministry of Finance.
As part of this scheme the benificiary will be provided with zero balance bank account, RuPay Debit card with inbuilt 1 lakh accidental insurance, Rupay Kisan card, bank transaction through normal mobile phone with the help of National Payment Corporation of India. In successive phase, the government planned to provide micro credit, pension etc. to the beneficiaries.
By providing banking facilities to all, people can use digital mode of transactions which will avoid tax evasion and it will boost GDP. The subsidy of PDS can be transferred via DBT which will avoid fund leakage and corruption. Financial illiteracy of people,Cyber crimes and Lack of infrastructure in rural areas are hurdles for financial inclusion. As the account balance is zero, most of the accounts are inactive.
The Government should create awareness about importance of banking sytem in rural and semi urban areas. Welfare schemes such as LPG subsidy. fertilizer subsidy should be linked with Jan Dhan accounts to enable DBT. This scheme will reach its goal with the active particpation of people in the grassroots level.

I would like to draw your kind attention towards the safety and security of the foreign and domestic tourists. India being rich in its culture and heritage, India is the first priority for tourists. But the toursits are ill-treated, harassed, forged in many recent incidents.
The tourists are charged abnormally more starting from landing from airplane to check out from the place. The safety of women tourists also very shocking and some are harassed by culprits. Fraudsters are taking the advantage of the language problem and involves in theft. The guides in historical monuments, auto rikshaw drivers, taxi drivers and hotels are charging higher price and it is giving bad impression about India.
As we have the responsibility of ensuring their safety and protection in all aspects, it is high time you acted on this. I request you to implement severe laws against the culprits. As tourism is main revenue for many Indian states, we need to take action to improve tourism standards. I hope you will look into this matter and take appropriate action on this.

It is ironic that one can see the largest gathering of a religion fest and highest level of pollution at the bank of same river. Namami gange is the ambitious project of PM modi to rejuvenate he cleanliness of river ganga by 2022.
The project was rolled out in 2014 with an initial funding of 2037cr. However this is not the first project emphasizing on cleanliness of ganga. Previously the project was named as ganga active plan chalked out in 1985.Under the aegis of ministry of water resources along with other subsidiary ministry, this project will cover 8 states with 47 towns. The planning constitutes many PPP projects, inclusion of bankside population, setting up bio-remediation plants and starting sewage treatment plants near bank of river. Also, entrepreneurs are suggested to come up with new innovative technology for waste water treatment.
The benefit of this mission will be fruitful for the health of river as well as for the aquatic life and humans. Moreover, this would generate employment for many people. As curbing open defecation is also the p[art of the project , it will go hand in hand with swachh bharat abhiyan.
Even tster many such plans, the project remains only in file. What we need is to strictly implement the rolled out strategy with no loose string attached. Laws are already ther to prevent industrial pollution and other pollution causing sources but it is the collaboration between the government and people who will decide the fate of the project.
