MAKE IN INDIA
Make in India is an initiative to encourage international and domestic investors to start their business in India. This initiative is launched by Prime minister Narendra Modi on 25th September 2014 in Delhi. Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion framed the objective to improve 25 sectors which includes automobile, defense, railways etc. by collaboration with foreign investors and advanced technology.
Before launching this initiative, the Government raised the cap for Foreign Direct Investment in various sectors. Except Defense(49%), Space, News and Media all other 22 sectors were allowed 100% FDI. Due to this, India Surpasses FDI in USA and China and became the FDI hub in all over the world.Along with that, the Government ease the business approval process with every application in online mode and increased the license period to 3 years.
The Government has to face some challenges like giving tax subsidy to Industries which will affect tax revenue.And the government has to give subsidized lands, water and other materials which will also add burden to it.
Inspite of all the difficulties, the government organized Make in India weak on 13th February 2016. Various international investors, State officials, Domestic investors participated and in the end of the event DIPP secretary announced that the government got 15.2 lakh crore worth Investment commitments, 1.5 lakh crore worth investment inquiry and Maharastra government got the highest investment of 8 lakh crore rupees.
Xioami, Huawei, FOXCONN companies started their business units in the country. OPPO,Fiat companies inquired and gave assurance for starting business units. So due to this initiative, many people will get job opportunities and country's GDP also will increase in the upcoming years.

Digital India is an umbrella program working under the department of electronics and information technology launched by PM Modi on 1st july 2015. It is a tranformed version of already working national e-governance plan. The main aim of digital India with moto “power to empower” is the transformation of India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge enabled economy, leveraged by IT as its growth engine. There are nine “Pillars of Digital India” as IT jobs, Information for all etc. The three major objectives of the campaign are increase in digital literacy, estalishing digital infrastructure and delivery of services electronically. 2.5 Lakh villages are to be connected with high speed internet by BBNL in order to empower them and already digital towns shall become even more tech-savy. Digital literacy mission will cover 6 crore rural households. This campaign shall enable fast and efficient governance by reducing paperwork. E-sign framework, E-hospital system for better health management, digital locker for storing all important documents, e-library and e-education for making yout more employable and enabling 4 lakh wifi hotspot in public areas are some of the chief characterstics of the Mission. However the actual implementaion is no bed of roses. Insecure India cyberspace, lack of digital framework, low digital literacy, lack of internet, absense of piracy and data protection laws are some of the obstacles in route of digital India campaign which need to be sorted out promptly. It is us the educated fellows who have to change social mindset and create awareness among people about the benefits of the campaign. Thus it can be rightly said that the journey from a citizen to a netizen will be fruitful and worthy of the initial investment. As our PM said Indian Talent coupled with Information technology is going to be India Tomorrow.
