Just called SSCNR and asked about cancellation of tier 2..The lady on the call denied and said that the result will pe published well on time.
With 185 marks in CHSL 2015 I stand at 10500 rank. What are my chances if I clear my typing test considering the fact that there are only 5000 UR seats.

I am going to use a principal to calculate the cutoff of 2016’s SSC CGL TIER 2 exam: cutoff of TIER 2, 2015: 430.75/600 cutoff of TIER 2, 2014: 426.25/600 we see a overall increase of 1.6% in cutoff from 2014 to 2015. so a 24.61% increase in tier 1 cutoff from 2014 to 2015, and the scores of tier 2 resulted in 1.60% increase in cutoff of tier 2. so a 34% increase in tier 1 cutoff from 2015 to 2016, will result in ALMOST 2.21% increase in cutoff of tier 2, inclusive of tier 2 marks.(calculated by UNITARY method) so the resultant cutoff of SSC CGL 2016 TIER 2 exam and the answer to ur question: 430.75 + 2.21% of 430.75 = 439.73 marks, we shall round it off to 439.75 so the final answer, the predictive cutoff for SSC CGL 2016 TIER 2 exam, inclusive of the ridiculous increase in the cutoff of TIER 1 exam, would be 439.75. now lets further elaborate, in TIER 1 the cutoff increases a maximum of 34% for a total of 200 marks. so it MAY increase by a MAXIMUM of, 11.33% for a 600 mark exam in the TIER 2 (INCLUSIVE of tier 1’s 34% increase, hence 600 marks, total, is considered, otherwise 400 marks of tier 2 would have been considered) SO if we calculate the upper limit that the cutoff might touch, it will be= 430.75 + 11.33% of 430.75 =479.55, we will round it to 480 marks so there you go, the cutoff of SSC CGL 2016 TIER 2 EXAM, is bound to be between: lower limit: 439.75 TO upper limit: 480 marks and this is not guess work, its pure calculation-obtained result, so u can BET on it. NOW, there is a huge difference in 439.75 and 480, so lets calculate the safe marks: Safe mark that you should DEFINITELY score to ensure ur selection 100% in TIER 2, will be the average of upper and lower limits, which will be = 459.88, we will round it to 460 marks. Those saying ssc cgl result of tier2 can give a shock just as tier1, remember that there's none who said tier 1 was difficult and none who said that tier2 was easy. Agar shock milega toh lower cut off than what most expect and not the other way.

Dosto mere to UR 446.5 (Without correction) ban rahe hain. Bas cutoff isse 15-20 marks neeche hi ho. Taaki koi to post mile.
