When will they conduct exam for those whose exam got cancelled. Any idea anyone
last year total UR vacancies 4506. This year , it is 3232. Last year, candidate with 3232 rank got 432.25 (from rank list in qmaths)
similarly, last year total OBC vacancies 2069. This year , it is 1278. Last year, candidate with 1278 rank got 422.00 (from rank list in qmaths)
So, if we consider 1:2 ratio then for UR, 6464 candidates should be shortlisted. For 6464 rank, the score is 417.5 (from qmaths rank list interview and non interview). So adding 20 marks for easy tier 1, cut off for UR might be 438 (435 to 440).
OBC, 2556 candidates should be shortlisted. For 2556 rank, the score is 408.25 (from qmaths rank list interview and non interview). So adding 20 marks for easy tier 1, cut off for obc might be 429 (425 to 430).

ESSAY ON DEMONETIZATION
Demonetization of currency means discontinuity of the particular currency from circulation and replacing it with a new currency. In the current context it is the banning of the 500 and 1000 currency notes as a legal tender. The PM in his address to the nation said the decision was taken to root out the menace of black money and corruption. As a first step the government had urged people to create bank accounts under Jan Dhan Yojana. They were asked to deposit all the money in their Jan Dhan Yojana accounts and do their future transaction through banking methods only. The second step that the government was initiated a tax declaration of the income and had given October 30, 2016 deadline for this purpose. However, there were many who still hoarded the black money, and in order to tackle them; the government announced the demonetization of 500 and 1000 currency notes. The demonetization policy is being seen as a financial reform in the country but this decision is fraught with its own merits and demerits. Merits The demonetization policy will help India to become corruption free. Banning high value currency will rein in criminal activities like terrorism etc. It will also curb the menace of money laundering and eliminate the circulation of fake currency. Demerits The announcement of the demonetization of the currency has caused huge inconvenience to the people. The sudden announcement has made the situation become chaotic. It has deeply affected business. Due to the cash crunch, the entire economy has been made to come to a standstill. Many poor daily wage workers are left with no jobs and their daily income has stopped because employers are unable to pay their daily wage. The government is finding it hard to implement this policy. Conclusion The government is saying that there are only advantages of demonetization policy and this will be seen in the long run. Former Prime Minister Manmohan singh who is a noted economist, dubs the demonetization move as an “organized loot and legalized plunder”. Even though there is suffering and agony among the masses right at the moment but the forecast is that its benefits will be seen in the long run. The government is taking all the necessary steps and actions to meet the currency demand and soon the trial and tribulations of the people will be over with the smooth flow of the new currency.

Demonitization is a process of stripping off some currency as a legal tender. It is an effective tool having been used by government machinery time to time to curb black money, fight corruption, promote cashless transactions, bring down hyperinflation but if it is implemented without any plan and effectiveness then it can cause chaos.
Zimbabwe government used it as to fight hyperinflation, European union used this tool to promote Euro and it was quite successful in those countries. Indian government on 8th November with an intent to fight against black money announced the demonetization of 500 and 1000rs note that contributes around 86% of cash available in the market. If we observe the effects of this measure then we will find that they are quite successful in halting violence in Kashmir, counterfeiting fake currency that is running in the market and most importantly they saw an unexpected success in their visionary scheme of Jan dhan yojana. Though there is some resentment in some part of society especially daily wage workers and we can't ignore that resentment.
90% of the population works in unorganized sector and most of them are daily wage workers.and expectation of black money from them would be preposterous. Another part of the society that is greatly affected by this scheme is vendors and small businessman.
Though a good intention to fight corruption and curb black money yet a lack of planning can hamper the good intention and efforts of government. Whether it would successful in near future time will tell but we should appreciate the government effort and help them building a perfect country.
