What a Man Bala Sir is... what a process it was... here is my share of what i owe to all the puys for their valuable information... i thank you and would like to return beck by telling you my experience of Sunday's process... at Delhi...
Reached at 8:30... people who had their admit cards- original were the first ones to enter, then those of the same centre without admit card, then those who have changed centre with original admit card... finally centre changed without admit cards...
orientation is held for an hour and a half... process starts at 10 sharp...
Groups of 12 is formed.. depending upon the preferences of students. for example students who want to specialize in marketing will be put together...
each group will take an hour of process... that includes.. preparation of the skit, enacting it, introduction with BALA Sir, GD, Finally interview.
mine was the 11th group of the day and 31st of the Delhi centre...
our chance came at 8:30 in late evening for the process... we were done with essay and survey in the morning itself... topic was 'Influence of TV on young minds' - the topic was the same for everyone entire day.
then there was this survey of some 25 odd pages.. this was not the part of admission process... bas time pass karne ke liye tha...
we spent the entire day sitting and waiting for our turn... it helped us to be cohesive with each other...
8:30 we were given the topic for skit... "pain and pleasure"
we prepared... I was to introduce the characters... all others played a crucial role.. a very justified play.....
Then we were called by Bala Sir... He asked each one of us where are we from... then we students put forth some queries and doubts... he apologized for the delay... and asked us to start the skit..
we did that impeccably... then GD... "Global warming" was the call of the day... A fish Market... He asked us individually to give points... and done....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Interview..
I went inside.. greeted the sir... he went through my form.. asked the difference between BBS and BBA as i have done BBS...
asked my specialization... it being marketing he asked me to sell a laptop... I did quite okie i guess... THANK YOU!
That was all!!!... thr were two more groups after us.. they may have gone home by 12.. as i reached my place at 10:30...
topics for other groups... SKIT/GD:men molestation, female molestation, all is well, youth., roadies, reality shows... are some that i remember.
VERY IMPORTANT... the process will take your entire day... dont reserve the return tickets for the same day... many students whose trains were scheduled had to cancel their tickets...
thats all from my side... Preperation wont help... be open to ideas... talk alot.. grab information from where ever you can...
some other questions asked in interview to my friends were... time in london, New york, why BIMM, why MBA... thats it... NO GRILLING!!

no you got it wrong. we were not confused about the figures he quoted.. but we were confused regarding his intentions and status.. as he said in one post that he has appeared for gd-pi and in another he said his center is pune i.e he is yet to appear for d same.. actually i never noticed to the figures he quoted.

dude before you say something about anything or anyone just read all the posts and do certain homework.....dont just read between the lines and put up some message.....wht do u knw about farcry's posts and his intentions.....how can u read just 1 post and post anything.....you r new to pagalguy....i wud suggest show some respect to da guys who have been around.....

Heyy Puys..Anyone appearing at Pune for GD-PI?
I had my GD/PI on 11th in delhi. Group number 31st.It was really a tiring and hectic day however selection process seemed like cake walk in terms of difficulty level.Reached ceter around 9 in the morning. Introduction was going on and few current students were asked to introuduce their collages like few from BIIM, few from BIIB etc. Did not find it that interesting as it appeared to be little dull and most of the current students were lacking energy that they should have while introducing their collage in front of 200 guys. Was not appealing at all.However some of them specially girls student were superb and seemed like they are the flag bearer.They were quite eye candy,energetic and effective with their communication.Far better than guys.
Than Bala sir gave his introductory speech. It was inspiring and depicted the well known picture of Bala sir that he cannot compromise on discipline.He gave the correct justifications for the reasons why he need to be strict about the rules and regulations of the collage. Than we were told to wait for some time as next could be essay writing.
Time,close to 12:00- were given essay sheets and heavy survey booklet.Topic was -effect of TV on Young minds'.No word limit but time limit of 30 minutes. survey form took us close to half an hour to complete. Some of the survey questions I really did not understand as why they want to know which brand of whiskey I drink or how many girl frnds do i have. LOL.
Than they started dividing the crowd in groups. 11th was the last day of gd/pi in delhi. And 20 groups had already been through it in previous two days. So the next group started with group 21. 12-13 people in each group. They started calling groups for skit and GD/pi. Hwever the duration between exit of one group and entry of other group was too long. kept waiting for our group.
Time-1 o'clock. Every one started appearing uneasy,tired and hungry. So brk was declared for an hour.
though i have been staying in south delhi yet could not locate any foodjoint nearby other than haldiram which was 20 min walking distance from center. Every one back by 2:30. As there was no other choice,groups started making circles and getting familiar with each other.
Time:4 pm, already finished 1 packate of classic Regular still group 25 or 26th were going for their GD.
It was very clear being the last group, we are going nowhere before 8-9 pm.
Finally at 7 one of the female coordinator took us upstairs for GD. However got to know that one group was in with bala sir, one was waiting outside and than was our turn. While waiting for our turn we asked all sort of questions regarding bala sir, different streams,placement etc. I enquired if Er. Richa has come along with them or not as she is the most active cordinator online so thought she would have come.
It was over 8 when one of the male coordinator came and gave us our topic for skit that was 'Pain and pleasure'. Gave us time of 15 mins to prepare for it. Lot of ideas started pouring in, finally we settled with the idea of depicting our experience in selection process that started with pain of waiting so long and tiring day ending with the pleasure of finally getting selected in the final results. Bala sir appreciated the thoughtfull skit and appolozied for delay in the process.
Than started GD, topic 'Global Warming'. It turned out to be true macchhi bazar. bala sir interrupted and asked every one to put their points one by one.
Next was interview, three of us were asked to go to third floor o the building as some of the panelist were sitting there.
My number was called. I entered the room, there was a guy sitting who would be of my age.

time: 9:30 pm, said good bye to everyone,took an auto grabbed a beer(thanks to the panel they released me before thekas could close :P) and reached home by 10. was so tired slept for more than 10 hours.
conclusion:
Intro was not at par,lacked enthusiasm
Coordinators were helpful and were on their toes to assist as much as possible.
Bala sir was impressive

SAP is for only those who will be specialising in systems. As per bala sir they have bought 45 license for SAP. However they will only be providing the modules and we can go for our own certifications.
i had my GD-PI on 14th in indore.
i reached by 8:15am. we were asked to make lines as per those who had admit card and those who didnt. vigensh sir was taking over the process along with some students. abt vignesh sir i would say..he is very cool, witty, funny.. rude at times.. 
then we were taught the world famous corporate clap for bala sir and other panel member.
after 1 hr of delay..bala sir arrived. cool persona.. awesome speech.. life me 1 baar..do meet this man.. he has seen alot.. i really enjoyed his words..
then the process began:
essay topic: market indore to india
it was same for everyone.
then few groupd were taken for gd-pi. rest were suppose to fill dt survey form which has nothing to do wid our selection process.
then after eternal wait.......
we were divided in to groups. i got group no.16
there was one girl..aakansha from ajmer.. she wanted to be the group leader..so we made her leader.. yes! every grp needs to have one leader. but let me tell u. being a grp leader does not add any advantage to u..rather it gives more burden and tension like to keep all the 12 members of the grp together.. sorry to say.. she was nt dat gud leader 
then luckily we were given 1hr break for lunch. vignesh sir asked us.. how much time do we need for break..i said 20mins sir? he said..why 20? take 1 hr.. 
we all went out had lunch..as usual..i ate more than required 
then after 1hr around 2:30pm we all assembled back. around 3:30 we were taken for gd+skit.
skit topic: parents role in pressurizing children for mba
we were given 10mins to prepare.
i asked for 2mins more from one of the lady students she was kind enough to give extra time 
but to our surprise we had to wait another 45mins for our skit as bala sir was busy wid anthr grp's gd and we were called b4 time. but that gave time to all the members to prepare mentally for the skit as we were nt allowed to talk and the lady made sure we didnt.
for those who wana know who am i 
i was the narrator of the skit
then we met bala sir. he asked do we need anything to eat..i wanted to say yes..bt rest said no sir..we had break.bla bla bla...:P
before skit..there was some interaction session. everyone was suppose to talk abt the place one belongs to..good and bad points. we did.
then we were suppose to talk abt one leader who inspired us. we did.
then came time to perform the skit.
after it gt over..bala sir was happy.. he raised his thumb up and said good one............
then in no time he gave us the topic for gd: narmada bachow andolan
and guess what..no time to prep.. direct start..
somehow we kept gd alive..
then we were taken for pi.
my pi was taken by inamdar sir( pls pardon me if i take his name rong bt i guess this is wht he was called by.)
he asked me:
1) where u from
2) u have any leader ship skills? give expls
3) rate on scale of 5 on communication skills..i said 4 and he wrote 4 on the sheet
4) what is plr ( prime lending rate.)
5) again a similiar que.. why type of leader u are
6) abt my cca.
7) why not take a drop or year break.
why no work exp.
now here is something i wana share wid u..and wana need ur views also.
he said.. u wont get bimm freshers batch. i asked why sir. he said..as this year cut offs are too high..and ppl wid work exp have an upper hand.i said but its a freshers batch. ppl wid no work exp shuld be given prefrence. he said.. its just to 'fool' aicte. he said.. if u wana take my advice. change pref no1( bimm fresher's batch) with pref 2( bimhrd freshers batch)
i said.. sir u mean to say i wont get bimm bcz i dnt have work exp. he said yes.. u wont.. and if u change ur pref u wuld get better chances of getting into bimhrd. and then he quoted some english proverb jo bouncer gaya..i said very true sir.
i changed my pref!!!
pi got over. then scrutiny of forms nd back to hotel around 7:30.
i wuld like to ask puys whether i did i rite thing in changing pref of the course? i guess he was nt bluffing arund to see how much i am confident. a teacher wont do that i guess.

I Have been specificaly told...that they would try and do this to you...BIMM is the best college there...watever they may say and get best packages...

Farcy not to distress you..but frnd now they wud consider you for Bimhrd...which according to me you would be getting easily...COZ AS I KNOW IT..THEREZ FIGHT ONLY FOR BIMM...
I know this coz one of my frnds who gave delhi interview last year...was very pursuasively ,almost forcefully made to change preference to BITM..Coz he was electronics engg....He did'nt join later though
