Let us all the call getters use this thread exclusively for the purpose of discussing profile sheet related and admission process related queries. I know there will be lots.
Please refrain from posting your profiles and expressing your happiness over getting an interview call, or regrets over not getting selected. There is another thread for that. Lets keep this one entirely for problems we face till '6th February, 2012 11:59:59 PM'.

Book your interview slots ASAP. And then start filling your profile sheet. It has a good amount of impact on your interview and you can be asked questions based on this sheet.
This profile sheet is exactly the same as the one SPJIMR has been using for quite some years now. I tried filling the Word version available on SPJIMR website a couple of days back and from various threads on Pagalguy and some other websites, I got this information which I think will be useful to you.
1. Specific distinctiveness: When they say "A statement of 5 sentences of 1 line each, indicating five" they mean 1 line sentences for each of the 5 text boxes, for a total of 5 sentences. Don't put more than one sentence in any of the text boxes.
2. Adversity faced in life: You can talk about financial problems, some event which affected your studies at a crucial stage (Like a death in family while giving final exams but you still doing well), health issues, or even smaller events which you think affected the outcome.
3. Contribution to society: If you have been part of NSS or some NGO, good enough, otherwise if you teached a student, or taken some community initiative, or web initiative.
4. Formative years: Talk about your childhood, schooling. How it affected your career choices and your path leading up till this date.
For 2-4, please note there is a 50 word limit for your answers. And this is a hard limit - you cant even overshoot by 1 word.
5. Part of group process which failed, your role and learnings: This one should not be difficult. For people who are in a job, they must have had some experiences like this. For people who are in college and those who organize events, they will find it easier to fill. Otherwise try to think of a event where your intended outcome could not be achieved (even if it did not fail)
6. Strongest stand of value system: This is the toughest question of the lot and for me and other Puys (in history) it took up the most time to fill. It can be things like you didn't give bribes for license/passport, you were asked to do an unfair thing in college/workex but you refused even if it meant that you could lose out on a position or get fired from your job. What values you upheld and why?
7. Improvement: How you have brought about an improvement in yourself through some incident (from workex/college), how you took an initiative at work and it has reformed/affected way the things are done, or how you have benefitted the society at large through some initiative/community program.
Again for 5-7, there was a 200 word "Hard Limit". Also a 300 word limit for Roles and responsibilities for Workex junta.

I left it blank...but its not accepting n asking me 2 fill the rank....

For anything which you don't have information, I think you can write N.A.
In past years, people have even said that they did not face any adversity in life. I think that is OK too..

My query is since there is only 1 'submit' button (at the bottom of the page)...what to do after I have filled up my profile sheet but not booked my slot city & date...should I click on the submit button after I complete my prof sheet and then book my interview slot date and then again click on the 'submit' button..? what to do :|....I am in a dilemma..pls help puys....

Yes, book your slot first and do that ASAP (By clicking on the submit button you mentioned). Fill your profile sheet by Monday night. For each of the sections (Personal details, Academic details, Behavioral etc.) you can click on submit after you fill that section - it won't submit the application in 'Literal' sense. It will only save that particular section. After you submit all the sections, then only your profile sheet will be finalized. However, till the deadline is over, you will have option to re-enable the profile sheet for changes.

No even i filled my acads details.. But it was saved, try again.. Re-enter you might be able to save..
Hi puys, a doubt. Since my last job is my first job, do I need to enter it twice in the job fields for job 1 and latest job. I was thinking the latest job should suffice.

In the Academic Details section, they're asking for final year percentage but I'm currently in my final year and haven't appeared for the final exam yet!! The information isn't getting submitted without the percentage!! It's not even accepting N.A (only numbers allowed). What should I do?

I was able to submit scores upto 6th semester.. 4th yr is not '*' marked.. So not a compulsion..
Logout and try once again.. It might work...

Does this section have a correlation with top 5 certificates to be submitted? Last yr there was no requirement of top 5 certis...

I dont think its abt best 5 certi's..
Its more like give us 5 reasons related to anything which answers "Why You and not someone else?"
