Hey Puys!
Help Needed!
I am a BTECH in CSE from NIT. A 2011 passout. Joined my job in March this year.
I am working in a business analytics company in bangalore for the past 7 months. I have done analysis for 2 projects. I have used SAS in all my projects and a little bit of Excel.
I am planning to apply for McKinsey (i know it is a long shot but ... it is always good to give a try) and thus I am planning to take up Base SAS and Advanced SAS certifications.
But I also heard that VBA may be more helpful.
Can you guys suggest tools or reads that I need to prepare for MCKinsey?
Case studies or something?
Help will be appreciated

Also same resources and skills for EnY n Booz Allen, JPMC et al.
Help will be appreciated!
Hi, Now a days SAS certification is of no use. It is very common in analytics industry. Though you had some experience of SAS, it would be easy to clear certification, but getting the job on basis of those certificates is not possible. Big consulting companies look beyond certificates. Update - SAS Institute had added some new certification related to DI and BI.
1. My offer letter says my compensation is gonna be 4.05 for the first year of which 30k is variable and 75k is bonus. So, what's my monthly take home gonna be? can I expect the bonus part to be given intact as 75k? Also, when is it rewarded, at the end of an year?
2. I got the job offer through off-campus in Dec'12. When can I expect my joining? My college is getting over in March. So can I ask the HR via mail to work things for me and give me an early joining in May at the earliest?
