Can you please give me a figure regarding how many companies ask for 60% aggregate during placements? My aggregate is only 58% 
If like more than half of the companies coming for recruitment ask for 60, im reluctant to join. Please help :lookround:

The kind of stats ur asking for is just not possible to provide..company's generally look at other things also..apart from acads,work ex, extra curriculars and other achievements are also considered..still to answer ur question, there r fair number of companies that do not ask for 60% aggregate..rest is ur choice of course

how was ur experience with the kind of teaching and the faculties at SITM??
And being a fresher and considering telecom is it a big disadvantage during placements or its just a minor hiccup ??

Faculty at SITM is good..we have many senior visiting faculties also which teach at other symbiosis institutes as well..
how can telecom be a hiccup?? here at SIM we specialize in telecom and many companies visit just because of this speciality..so u r actually set apart from others as u specialize in telecom ,whether u r a fresher or not..

Congratulations to all who have converted the call and are ready to kickstart their tenure in SITM!
The 2 years would be a roller-coaster ride, full of smiles and tears, accomplishments and sufferings, strategies and emotions, friends and foes but it is for sure when you graduate, these memories will remain forever for you to cherish.
Be ready to challenge your own limits and collide with difficulties head-on. This the the time when raw carbon will get moulded into shiny diamond, and for that ample amount of high pressure would be available. Networking and making friends would be your topmost weapons and strike a perfect balance between academics and extra-curricular. 6 months down the line you would be able to juggle all your tasks with finesse and the more earlier you learn it, would be better for you. There is no lack of stress relievers in SITM campus and around that, so work hard and ensure that you de-stress yourselves too.
So wishing you all the best! And, always be the Joker in the Pack.

what is ur waitlist number??? it depends on ur waitlist number....thr might b few ppl who r waiting 4 results of other colleges to be declared...so thrz still a ray of hope :)

I dnt think so they have given WL no.. not at all in d entire process... dats d reason y i dnt knw wat r my chances...

Well well well... After joining to SCIT 20 days back,, today i got a call from SITM(Mr.Taneja) to confirm my seat.. in M&F...; 
So Sitm (m&f;) members... tell me wat to do nw.. shud i come there or stay in scit only.. with respect to all issues, give me a consolidated to join or not...

3. I think there is a uniform in Sitm. Did I supposed to buy it or college will provide it?
