No the shortlists are'nt yet open I think...
The avg. of Pune and Bglr don't have too much difference according to me. Don't blive too much from here and there too much. The fee is a lil higher maybe. But its bcos of the facilities and expense in bangalore...

@Buttercup, You are for sure in for GE-PI rounds... be prepared after 31 we shall discuss the GE/PI how can they be and how to perform better
@Vibhav: Dude rarely a possibility for you, but
you should apply for a chance... u might get a chance in waitlist...If you belong to some quota its completely another thing.

Hello Ms. Sanjana! Its a lil bit vague till now. Although SIMC-P has decided to reveal it this week, Due to its noticable growth SIMC-B may do first week of Feb
Got 65.5 forgot to apply for SIMC Pune. I dearly need information about this institute. Please enlighten us seniors about the placements. I think the second batch would have their placements now.

You're right about the mixed reactions but yes what concrete truth I can tell youis First: Stop comparing the Two colleges, they're diffrent entitiess and second: How do you think of comparing a 20 year old college to a new upcoming 4 yrs old one?
But yes, the applauds come when you see the growth here... Compared to its age, SiMC-B is picking up like great... No, its not simple slide here, u'll have to work yourself.. But u'll get it for sure if you deserve it!

Hey, I got 46.75.. will i get a call or will i be in the waiting list? Also am a b.tech engineer passed out in 2011 no work ex. Do b.tech grads have lower chances of getting thru even if they get a call for gdpi than those in other streams?

'BUT' I suggest you to please apply caustea... just bcos of the simple phenomenon of 'Waiting List', in case others scoring near to you aren't taking chances, you'll easily get in for GE/PI rounds in WL and hence will hava good chance to prove yourself, score better in GE/PI...!
'Take a chance' your scores are at least worth taking it!
