My experience ..
My center was SIMS Kirkee .. The reporting time was 12 p.m. . But I had reached at like 11 a.m. ..
They started the initial verification process at 11 a.m. itself .. I don't remember if any student had came at sharp 12 p.m. :( .. Even though I had reached to BIMTECH interview at sharp time, and no problems had aroused . But it's better to reach before time.

In initial process, (which was handled by the students of MBA themselves), the photocopies of all the documents were to be bifurcated into 4 sets. Remember to take the photocopies of each and every document that you are going to carry to the WAT-PI process. (even the snap admit card and WATPI admit card)
All the students who are called for a particular slot are divided into 14 groups of 14 students each. (It may different for other centers of slots).
But many students are absent, so my group had only 4 students, but few other groups had almost full attendance.
Then the WAT process will start.
40 minutes are given, and there are 2 WAT tasks.
1) India produces largest number of movies in this world. Do you think on account of its size, it makes a global cultural impact ??
2) An image was given, it was a standard Amul poster add. A man was taking bribe, and there was a figure mentioned besides him 70K crores. And then it was written, "Satyam S**** Scandalam", and the tag line of Amul (I think it was some other tagline).
And then it was written, express your views on the above picture.
After 40 minutes sharp, the WAT sheets were collected,
Then the original document verification starts, which is taken care of, by the admin people of the institute. They will cross-check each and every original with the photo-copy submitted. They will even calculate the relevant percentages, to verify them with the details filled up in our form.
Then we were forwarded to the PI room.
Then the PI process started.
The Interview was pretty calm and normal. It seemed like a HR interview.
The standard questions to almost all the candidates were
1) Why MBA ?
2) Tell me something about yourself
And then all the questions that followed were based on whatever details we had written in that one page biodata form, so that one page biodata form is like a gatepass to SIMC Benguluru or whatever Symbi institute that we are aspiring of.
After the Interview, snacks (Samosa) and Frooti was served.
And then we made back to our homes merrily.
The entire process is really well managed, and not tensed. So keep your calm, be yourself, and give your best shot.

I got my confirmation letter, but I don't understand some of the things that have been asked for.
Mention your Name, SNAP ID and specialization on the reverse of the DD. - What specialization?
Along with the DD you are also required to submit the following documents - Do the documents on this list have to be submitted/mailed by 27th March, or when we go for admission (i.e. 7th June)?
One more thing - on the list of documents to be submitted, it says:
Gap certificate is to be submitted if there is a gap of one or more years between passing of the qualifying examination and admission with appropriate proof as early as possible, for eligibility as candidate for the Program.
I graduated from my college after the correct number of years (4-year course, 2007 to 2011), but collected my original documents (degree, marksheets etc.) a couple of months later.
So, in addition to the date on which I received my degree (November 2011), which was at the end of the fourth year, the date of collection is also mentioned on my marksheets etc., which is 5-6 months later than the date on which I got my degree, around April of 2012 I think. Will this be an issue??

In the confirmation letter, they have mentioned 3.5 L to be paid on or before 27th March.. In the refund policy they have mentioned that Rs.1000 will be deducted if admission is cancelled before commencement of academic programme..
So if we cancel our admission before June, how much will they deduct? Given that the induction fees is to paid on or before 7th June..
