Hi Srikanth,

You may be aware of the global concerns w.r.t efficient energy utilization and thus sustainable growth for all. This is an arena where all the developed and developing nations have directed their focus.
The course is niche and equips you with all the skill set and know how required in this field.
The response from the industry has been overwhelming and the course has been highly appreciated and welcomed.
The 1st Batch of E&E; will be out next year. Hence the Final placement details of the 1st batch will take some time. However, summer interns have been very encouraging.

Please check the website for more details on the course and batch profile.

Registrations for SNAP have already started. SIIB registrations will start shortly.

Best Regards,
Pawan Alamchandani,
SIIB- MBA -IB - Batch of 2010-2012.

What is the last year SNAP Score for MBA - Agri Business (MBA-AB)......????
to get a GDPI Call.......

@Srikanth - Glad you asked this question!! MBA E&E; being the youngest program at SIIB and the MBA landscape in the country, Information has rather been relatively scarce. MBA-E&E; is very niche and SIIB is among the only B-schools offering such degree of specialisation. Although Energy & Environment management is nascent in India, it has great potential in years to come. Just to give you a clearer view - The MBA E&E; students were the most sought after during the last summer placements on campus. More so SIIB's International focus shall prepare you not just for the domestic market but also global Energy & Environment profiles.

Hope it helps!!...

Hi Mohdhuzaifa2010,

The package details are as follows

Year
MBA IB ( 2007-09 )
MBA IB ( 2008-10 )
Average Salary
5.5 Lakhs (Rs.p.a.)
6.06 Lakhs (Rs.p.a.)
Highest Salary
10.00 Lakhs (Rs.p.a.)
16.50 Lakhs (Rs.p.a.)

The same is updated on the website as well.

There is no pre- defined cut off for admissions to SIIB. The cut-offs are determined by the overall performance of the candidates in snap and the number of applicants.
My advise would be "Give your best and leave the rest". Try to maximize your scores as much as possible rather than depending on the cut-off which may even go up during your time given the every increasing number of applicants.

All the Best.

Best Regards,

Seniors,
Is it possible to apply for SIIB on the 12 Jan itself?(On the day of SNAP result)

Dear Airbender,

My advise to all aspiring candidates like you would be avoid any last minute rushes. "A stitch in time saves 9" as is said, it would not be prudent for an aspiring candidate to wait for the 11th hour and register on the last day when the traffic and load may be really very high on the website.

I can understand the dilemma you may be facing as we have been in the same boat at one point of time but trust me if you have efforts put in place and are confident of a good score in SNAP, don't wait for anything because it is worth it.

There will also be PR meets in several cities after SNAP briefing you about the institute, the new stand alone campus, course, registration and GD/PI process and preparations.

So at this juncture put all worries aside and give SNAP your best shot.

PM me in case you have any other queries.

All the Best.

Best Regards,

Seniors,
Plz provide details about the profile offered to MBA E&E; batch in summers and in final placement..
