The verification process was as strict as a criminal verification procedure.
After the initial delay my turn came at 11 am (I was 3rd)
The interview revolved around my engg background (mining) and some economy's related questions like financial inclusion,types of insurance, schemes by SIDBI,CGT-SME.Although I was unable to answer 3-4 questions out of 12-13,but my composure and English speaking was good ,thus fingers crossed.

What is the basic purpose of conducting an interview ? What is that interviewer wants to see ?

sidbi has public dealing or not ?
only refinance work is performed by sidbi, does this means : no one can approach directly to sidbi for loan, they need to go to psb for finance and then sidbi will provide finance to psb? am i right?
Done with Interview today... Sidbi New Delhi.. Mumbai Panel afternoon batch.. first candidate
First was Introduction.. gave a gud one...
Then started the downslide.... As I have posted earlier that I have a gap of 4 years... prepare a false story well.. but didn't lie.. just couldn't do it... and as usual my truth became my enemy
For next 10 min only they were talking .. no questions at all...then last 10 mins questions were asked { finally reham aaya unhe}
Questions were:-
a] Budgetary provisions specificaly for banking industry
b] Emi: definition and full form
c} Loan; explain the process
d} difference between credit nd debit card: 3 cross questions
e] Start Up india for MSMEs: what and will it work n how
f] Finnacle: never heard of it
And then again 5 mins "gyaan" on my TRUTH {gap}
Morale was already down in the beginning , still managed to give most of the answers,,, got stucked up in few cross questions also
No idea how it went... but their xpressions went down in the beginning only nd never got better..

Finally it's over... Venue- SIDBI tower , Lucknow I was third last to be interviewed... Entered the hall... The screen was small.. I could hardly see their faces.. In the panel there were 3 male members and 1 female.. Wished them... I was little nervous.. They told me to relax and make myself comfortable.. !! It started with my intro.. Gave it properly..they asked about my family background and hometown in detail.. Then came the worst part .. They started asking ques from civil engg.. As I have done Btech in civil.. I could hardly answer 1or 2... Though the ques were very basic..:( Asked about my hobbies.. They asked me have I played ranji trophy.. As I have played intercollege national in cricket.. Why didn't you make a career in cricket.. I replied.. Why do you want to join SIDBI..Then questions came from banking.. Functions of RBI , why is monitery policy framed.. Open market operations.. Tools of RBI - crr, slr etc...What would you like to do if you get the job. SIDBI functions.., subsidiary of sidbi , associates of sidbi... About MSME sector..ques related to union budget.. It lasted for about 25-30 minutes.. Overall it was an average show..they wished me luck..overall the panel was friendly and it was a nice experience.. Hope for the best. Fingers crossed....!! All the best to the guys who have their interviews in coming days...!!!
