Fundwiser” activity was held in our college i.e. SRMS IBS on Saturday (10- Sep-2016). It was organized by Fundwiser Club “Dravya” under the guidance of Prof Uttam Kumar. The event started with Saraswati Vandana and lightning of lamp.
The event consists of various activities like Presentation round, GD as “Bahas Bazi round”, Presenting Print-Ad round and Logo round through Rangoli. All the teams had presented their best in all the rounds. There was a stiff competition among participated teams. Index Fund team was announced as the winner of the event and Sector Fund team as the runner-up. Eventually, medals were awarded to the winners by the faculty members.
Role Play activity was held in our college as to enhance the problem solving skills, team spirit and communication skill of students and also to build confidence in them to face the corporate world. The topic for the role play was “CANNONBALL EXPRESS”. Cannonball express based in Atlanta, operates an intra-city fast delivery small package and parcel service network throughout the Southern United state. The students were trying to demonstrate the situation where they were discussing about the best compensation plan for the company. The characters in the role play were: - Shantam as V.P of Sales. Ankita as Carlos, Regional sales manager for Florida, Alabama. Rishika as Judy, Regional sales manager for Virginia, the district of Columbia and Ankur as Max, Regional sales manager for Georgia and the Carolinas.
