Yes,inference means a conclusion drawn on the basis of available facts but that which is not apparent.Basically CAT ke liye inference neatly translates into 'reading between the lines'.

Hmm Very true.Though CL's emphasis on tone questions leaves me annoyed as they usually translate into 3 free marks for everyone.(Mere abhi tak CL ke tone questions wrong nahi hue).

@anupam001 Haan wo to hai. But I am equally bad at both, so no difference there. Aajkal speed ka kuch issue ho raha hai, Unproc 14 ke kaafi LR questions chhodne pade.

Ending concern hota hai ? Ya continuity ? .. Mujhe to padte hi laga 3 hona chahiye.. kyunki usse ek line pehle us doctor ke relative baat ho rahi thi.. to continuity ke hisaab se 3.. but source me 2 hai.. to gaye mere 4 number :(
