Well the HR course does have separate cutoffs , don't know about the case of the core guy. Giving the exam or not is your call buddy.

The only harm is that you would be be checking all the threads on PG to check wts happening. Its usually a time when a lot of rumors and speculation is around, so hell lot of time is wasted in checking this stuff.
