@YouMadFellow Ye wala try karna, I am getting an answer not matching with TIME's solution.

There are five boys (A to E) and five girls (P to T). Five pairs have to be made with a boy and a girl in each pair. Pairing should be done in accordance with the following conditions.
(i) B should be paired with either T or Q and P should be paired with either E or A.
(ii) T should be paired with B or A and E should be paired with R or P.
(iii) D should be paired with S or R and Q should be paired with B or C.
(iv) S should be paired with C or D.
In how many ways the five pairs can be formed?

Options:
A. 1
B. 2
C. 3
D. 4

Megadeth!! Epicness @bluechameleon18 @YouMadFellow @RoadKill @hanushanand @fisherking
@aimingCAT12

Though it cost me 2k and 5 stitches above the eye. but totally worth it \m/ Back to my senses and suddenly I realized I'm writing CAT this year

how to know number of students appear in free Simcats??????????????

@anupam001 @fisherking
More of TIME awesomeness..

a. Unable to bear the censure (a) / censor (b) of his movie by the critics, the director became reclusive.
b. The complacent (a) / complainant (b) nature of Shyam appealed to his by who was pleased with his kowtowing.
c. The Madhuri's wedding gown titivated (a) / titillated (b) her beauty further.
d. The epicures palate (a) / palette (b) war piqued by the variety of the arena on display.

Options:
A. aaaa
B. abaa
C. baba
D. bbba

The OA, as per TIME, is b. Why? Because complaisant refers to an acquiescent character.

You: "Where the eff is complaisant in the question?"
Me: "My point, exactly..."

@maddy2807

c????

@Ibanez

Are gud nwz bhai.....welcm welcm

@maddy2807 OA is 2, but I am getting 4... :(

Conditions:
(i) B should be paired with either T or Q and P should be paired with either E or A.
(ii) T should be paired with B or A and E should be paired with R or P.
(iii) D should be paired with S or R and Q should be paired with B or C.
(iv) S should be paired with C or D.

Here are my 4 arrangements, they seem to satisfy all the conditions:

1. A-R, B-T, C-Q, D-S, E-P
2. A-T, B-Q, C-S, D-R, E-P
3. A-T, B-Q, C-R, D-S, E-P
4. A-P, B-T, C-Q, D-S, E-R

Koi mujhe batao kis waale mein kaun se conditions violate ho rahe hai... :banghead:
@RoadKill
bhai in first pair...
A cannot be paired with R

and in third pair
C cannot be paired with R

acc to the question... A,B,C,D,E can be paired as follows

A + P/T
B + T/Q
C + Q/S
D + S/R
E + P/R

only possible pair possible
A - P
B - T
C - Q
D - S
E - R

A - T
B - Q
C - S
D - R
E - P
@maddy2807 R pe koi restriction mentioned nahi hai question mein.. Match my pairs with the given conditions. They are all satisfied. How are you getting the restrictions for A's pairing?

The only conditions that mention R are:
E should be paired with R or P
D should be paired with S or R
These do not imply that R should be paired with E or D, they just say what should be paired with E and D.

I have edited my post above, so you can verify whether all given conditions are being verified in my arrangements. I can't see anything being violated

4th option me to R missing hai... usko edit karna
@maddy2807 @YouMadFellow Ye wala LR bhi try karo arrangement ka. I got stuck because of a few conditions, and I find the solution a bit contradictory.

Some mangoes, apples, bananas, oranges and pomegranates are distributed among four patients Chust, Tandrust, Aarogya and Binbeemar. The following information is known about the number of fruits and the way they were distributed.
(i) The number of fruits of each kind is different and is at least four and at most eight. The total number of fruits received by each patient is different and they are consecutive natural numbers.
(ii) The total number of fruits received by Chust is same as the number of oranges distributed, which in turn is the maximum number of fruits distributed among the five kinds of fruits.
(iii) Each of the four patients received at least one fruit of each kind except bananas, which except Aarogya, everyone else received at least one.
(iv) Less number of mangoes are distributed than bananas, less number of apples are distributed than pomegranates, which are less in number than mangoes.
(v) Binbeemar received more fruits than Tandrust and the maximum possible number of bananas, Aarogya received maximum possible number of fruits. He received maximum possible number of oranges, while each of the other three patients received equal number of oranges. He also received the least possible number of mangoes and Tandrust received the maximum possible number of pomegranates.

I feel there is an issue with saying "Arogya receives the least possible no of mangoes".. Batao tum logon ko kya lagta hai.
@maddy2807 Haan kar diya. Usme E ke aage R hai.
