I am assuming the winner is the guy who picks up the last coin.

min+max = 8. If no of coins is x, then Radhika should pick up x mod 8 coins in the first turn. x mod 8 is given to be 5, which means no of coins - 5 is a multiple of 8. Hence 37.

Similarly, doosre ka 2 hoga.

If last coin wins hai toh I want to be in a situation where 8k coins are left and it is not my turn.
If last coin loses hai toh I want to be in a situation where 8k+1 coins are left and it is not my turn, right?

@Omkarp Yes. The key thing is that you can force the sum of your turn and his turn to be 8, no matter what the opponent plays.
