Q... Mammu wears socks of two different colours - white and brown. She keeps them all in the same drawer in a state of complete disorder.
She has altogether 20 white socks and 20 brown socks in the drawer. Supposing she has to take the socks in the dark, how many must she take out to be sure that she has a matching pair ?
21 ?

Worst case = 10 left/right of white + 10 left/right of brown + 1 (it will surely match)

I think it should be 6 + 12k
Using relative velocity concept: Imagine one to be stationary, and only the other to be moving
If that other guys covers half circle in 12 minutes -> Quarter circle in 6 minutes
Also, after every 12 minutes, the guy is again at a quarter distance
=> 6 + 12k .. 144 doesn't satisfy !
ya but if we apply relative velocity and keep one stationary then in that time other shud have complete the whole circle ...
There are two whole numbers, difference of their squares is a cube and the difference of their cubes is a square. These are the smallest possible numbers.
Can you find the numbers ?

Depends socks identical hai ya nahi .. for the same color .. ! Right ?

6 +/- 12k ? Matlab tum time ko piche le jayoge ?

Matlab 😲 any sock can be fitted on both left and right foot :/ so she has to take out just 3 socks. Gloves hote to 21.

10 and 6 ?
100 - 36 = 4^3
1000 - 216 = 784 = 28^2

Ab agar specified nahin hai socks ke liye toh identical hi lenge na. 20 Red in Color and 20 Brown kuch bhi object ka likha ho toh identical hi toh lete hai na ?
