correction third case is 16 .. Not 18 .. thats the real catch in this prob

why maximum...we are only told to make selections it is nowhere specified to take the case with max no or is it something we do ?

i dont WWB aur BWW mein difference hona chhaiye...koi bhi square select karne pe you remove one row and one column i.e. total 7 squares of both colours

You've mixed up the cases :/ anyway ans is 6912 naga sir says take case which gives max value.

yes number of ways is obviously be greater for the worst case .. we are just finding that at max these many number of cases are needed 😁

By the way , i have seen the same type of question in one of the cat 2010 time aimcat 😁 Not sure whats the source 😛
