I am from Hyderabad and I did my BE (ECE) from a prestigious college but because of some family problems and issues I could not concentrate and ended up with a very poor percentage and did not get a job. Later I did MBA from a Tier II college and I am currently working in Accounts payable in an MNC. I have a feeling that HRs in general would see my profile very poorly. I have gaps in education also. Now I am thinking of going for CFA L1, will it help me get a financial analyst job or any core finance job or will it be a waste of time and money looking at my profile?
